Jim Hossick thought he hit the "Big Time" after performing a concert featuring his original children's songs in front of 4,000 people at Pier Six Concert Pavilion in Baltimore, MD in 1996. Except for a certain children's music band from Australia that can't sit still, the reality is that children's music has never been (and probably never will be) "big time" compared to other musical genres. That's okay with us, and it's definitely okay with the children. We believe children's music is best enjoyed in smaller venues where the performer can better connect with children and families. After over 25 years as a dedicated children's music songwriter and performer, "Kidsinger Jim" has surpassed the milestone of 4,000 shows performed in a variety of venues.. Big concerts can be exciting for sure, but some of Jim's best experiences have been in small venues like library meeting rooms. Because to a child, that show can be just as magical as a rock concert is to a grownup. Our goal here at ChildrensMusic.com is to bring wholesome, high-quality performances to more children and families so they can experience the joy of live music and theater together. We hope to see you and your children at one of our performances or events soon!
